UKHN role
UKHN acts as a dispatch and load-finding intermediary. It does not own, operate or control vehicles, and does not employ drivers.
Haulier responsibilities
The haulier is responsible for the safe, lawful and timely carriage of goods on every job it accepts.
Client / load responsibilities

UKHN commission
UKHN charges a commission on each job the haulier accepts. The standard rate is 10% of the agreed job price, and the amount is shown before acceptance.
When commission becomes payable
Commission becomes payable when the haulier accepts a job. A job is only booked once the commission payment succeeds.
Payment method
The haulier saves a payment card through Stripe. UKHN does not store full card numbers or security codes.
Job acceptance
Pressing “Accept job” confirms the haulier agrees to carry out the job and authorises the commission charge.
Job decline
A haulier may decline any job offered. No commission is charged for declined jobs.

Compliance
Hauliers must provide and keep up to date the compliance documents UKHN asks for. UKHN may pause work if documents expire.
Operator licence responsibility
The haulier is responsible for holding any operator licence the law requires.
Insurance responsibility
The haulier is responsible for holding suitable insurance, including Goods in Transit cover where needed.
Driver responsibility
The haulier is responsible for making sure its drivers are properly licensed, qualified and fit to drive.
Vehicle responsibility
The haulier is responsible for the roadworthiness, maintenance and legal compliance of its vehicles.
Accuracy of information
The haulier must make sure the information it gives UKHN is accurate and kept up to date.
Route / availability information
Route, empty-position and destination information is used to look for suitable work. UKHN does not guarantee any work.
